Our first collection is in development. Join the list for availability updates and early access when our copper bars are ready.

Founded in the historic maritime town of Maldon, Maldon Copper Co. was established with an uncompromising commitment to time-honoured British metalwork. In an era dominated by mass automated casting, our workshop remains devoted to deliberate, small-batch artistry rooted along the Essex coast.
Every ingot is crafted to celebrate the warmth, heft, and tactile dignity of solid elemental copper. We reject thin veneers and machine-brushed shortcuts in pursuit of a satin, smooth-faced planar finish that ages into a deep, singular heirloom patina.
Every ingot and architectural cast produced by Maldon Copper Co. is submitted to independent, UKAS-accredited metallurgic laboratories. Through glow-discharge spectrometry and gravimetric assay, we substantiate exact elemental composition before public allotment.

From laboratory-certified raw virgin copper to precision-stamped collector ingots: each bar undergoes a three-stage transformation engineered for purity, thermal density, and timeless tactile character.

Every batch originates exclusively from certified electrolytic cathode stock rated at 99.99% minimum chemical purity. Spectrometric verification ensures our elemental composition remains devoid of scrap dilution or surface oxidation prior to furnace intake.

Copper melts at 1,085°C inside an inert electric induction crucible, mitigating micro-porosities and slag formation. Poured by hand into high-density CNC graphite molds, the metal undergoes controlled cryogenic cooling to yield maximum crystal cohesion.

Solidified ingots are manually dressed, deburred, and treated to a multi-grit satin brush finish that celebrates warm metallic highlights without reflective glare. Each bar is hydraulic stamped with our foundry mark, batch serial, and registered weight.
If you have any questions then please read our FAQ's and contact us if you have any more.
Every ingot is poured to calibrated mold dimensions with finished weight held within a strict +/-0.5% tolerance of stated mass. Our 1kg, 500g, and 250g specimens undergo rigorous analytical balance verification before packaging, with the certified net mass stamped directly on the base shoulder.
Pure elemental copper reacts naturally to atmospheric humidity and oxygen, developing a warm amber and deeper russet patina over years. For clients who prefer to maintain the freshly polished satin lustre, each ingot arrives enclosed in an airtight protective sleeve alongside archival preservation guidance.
Crucible samples from each discrete pour are dispatched directly to an independent UKAS-accredited assay laboratory for optical emission spectrometry. Assay analysis confirms 99.9% minimum elemental purity within 5 to 7 business days, after which serialized certificates are finalized.
All orders are packaged within unmarked, tamper-evident protective outer containers and dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm. Full transit insurance covering the complete valuation of your consignment is included automatically on every shipment.
